What Is WPC Decking?
WPC decking is short for Wood Plastic Composite, where 60% of it is made out of artificial wood fibre, 30% of it plastic composite, and 10% of other additives. It is an eco-friendly outdoor flooring material made with co-extrusion technology; a technique in which two or more polymer materials push together to form a multilayer structure, making it three to four times more scratch-resistant than a normal deck.
WPC Decking: The Benefits

It is water resistant
Wood Plastic Composite is made of wood fibre and plastic. The result of this mixture is a material which has a very high water resistance. This is a considerable asset for a construction material. Outdoor benches, tables can made out of it.
Low Maintenance
With WPC decking, you never need to worry about sanding, staining or painting. The occasional soap-and-water clean, all that’s required to maintain the decking for decades.
However, it is worth mentioning that composite decking has the potential to show water stains and, although they do tend to disappear after experiencing rain, they may require a more focused clean in hotter weather as the stains can become more obvious.
WPC Decking Have Natural Appearance
Wood has always been a natural material that can blend perfectly into any environment. As the WPC usually made out of wood fibres, its natural wood grain appearance makes it the perfect choice for outdoor flooring.
Excellent Durability
WPC decking is an ideal outdoor flooring solution because of its longer lifespan compared to a traditional timber deck. Due to the additional strength of the thermal plastic components. And it is highly resistant to rot and decay and heat and wet weather conditions. On top of that, it has great strength and stability and does not corrode easily.

Cost-Effective
WPC composite decking might be more costly in the beginning but this product continues to look great year after year and has virtually no cost of upkeep. As already stated, composite decking requires less maintenance than traditional wood decking.
This means you can spend far less time maintaining your space and reaching into your pockets and it gives you far more time to spend money on other things. WPC decking will last longer than its timber alternatives and therefore incur fewer overall costs for replacements and overhauls.
